From a scientific perspective, learners will explore three types of psychological disorders that have their origins in trauma. They will gain a comprehensive understanding of the psychology of anxiety which will include diagnostic criteria, prevalence, contributing factors, treatments, and cultural influences. Learners will also delve into the cognitive psychological principles that they can use to master course material, the physiological and psychological effects of stress, and techniques to overcome them.
