Creating art and painting canvases started for me by accident, in 2009. I am now a professional artist, marketing and sell my art to international audiences.I was able to sell more art during the worldwide Pandemic in 2020 and 2021, than any other time in my art practice.In this course, you will learn skills needed to create a viable and successful art practice from scratch. We explore various avenues to prepare, promote and sell your artwork.You will learn the following:- How to prepare gallery wrapped canvases- Pricing your artwork - How to promote your artwork for physical sales- Ideas for selling and marketing your artwork online- How to curate and hang your paintings at an indoor or outdoor event- How to create a successful application for Juried Art Shows- How to wrap a painting to send cross country, overseas and across bordersThis course examines many questions that artists ask and represents years of hands-on learning and experience accumulated through sweat and tears. I have learned from other artists and attended numerous workshops and courses. The best experience, however, was going out and trying new things and learning from those experiences.My wish is to see you succeed as a fine artist, avoiding mistakes and pitfalls that I made in the past.Be creative and take your art to the world!
