PASS: 100+ PRACTICE QUESTIONS FOR CCMA, EKG & PHLEBOTOMY

About this course

3 practice exams questions are included, covering knowledge and skill sets on Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Electrocardiogram technician (EKG) and Phlebotomy technician. Certified Clinical medical assistants (CCMAs) are trained, multi-skilled medical professionals who perform administrative and clinical tasks in various settings, like medical offices, clinics and hospitals. They may work under the direct supervision of a physician, an office manager or other healthcare practitioner. Phlebotomy technicians are medical professionals who draw blood for tests, donation and other purposes. They typically work in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood donor centers, and other medical facilities. Phlebotomy technicians must be comfortable drawing bloods, processing specimens, and performing other procedures. Physicians and other providers use the EKG test to diagnose major heart problems as arrhythmias or coronary artery disease, and or to monitor how certain medications and pacemakers operate. They will be relying on a certified EKG technician to efficiently administer the test. CCMAs often are trained in EKG, CCMA and phlebotomy. In many practices, it is expected to have all three certifications. Included are 150 CCMA questions covering these domains: Foundational Knowledge and Basic Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Patient Care, Patient Care Coordination and Education, Administrative Assisting, Communication and Customer Service, and Medical Law and Ethics. There are 100 phlebotomy questions covering core knowledge: Phlebotomy core knowledge, Patient Preparation, Routine Blood Collections, Special Collections, Safety and Compliance and Processing Specimens. Core knowledge questions do not represent standalone domains on the CPT exam, however, are necessary knowledge for a phlebotomy. Lastly, there are 100 EKG questions covering: EKG acquisition, EKG analysis and interpretation, and Safety, Compliance & Coordinated Patient Care.Knowledge areas
