Bu kursta, kodlayıcı-kod çözücü mimarisi özet olarak anlatılmaktadır. Bu mimari; makine çevirisi, metin özetleme ve soru yanıtlama gibi "sıradan sıraya" görevlerde yaygın olarak kullanılan, güçlü bir makine öğrenimi mimarisidir.
