Este curso tiene como propósito fundamental que el estudiante logre comprender y utilizar, en particular, el Lenguaje de Modelado Unificado (UML), el cual fue creado para tener un estándar común a la hora de analizar problemáticas de tipo informático, y trasladarla al diseño de software que permitan resolverlas. Para ello se abordará primeramente la fundamentación teórica de modelos, sus tipos e importancia, continuando con el Lenguaje de Modelado Unificado (UML) y los diagramas que con éste se pueden desarrollar para así cumplir de manera exitosa la fase de diseño de cualquier software.
