Grief is a difficult topic to talk about and is often misunderstood. But what is grief? It is a profound mental anguish that arises from loss, particularly the loss of a loved one. Grief is a reaction to the loss or change of something familiar in your life. In this course, I will briefly discuss a loss by suicide because I have personal experience with it.This course invites you to think about grief in a way you may not have thought about before. You will be encouraged to open your mind to new ideas and perspectives regarding grief. You will learn to understand the emotions associated with grief and how they impact you.This course isn’t just for those who are grieving; it is also for anyone feeling stuck in life. If you feel unable to move forward and want to reclaim the life you had, this course is for you.No one can escape the emotions of grief. Everyone will experience it at some point in their lives, and each person feels it to varying degrees and over different lengths of time. Grief can be painful, and many people struggle to know how to cope with it. As a result, they may engage in self-sabotaging thoughts, believing that their life will never improve. This mindset can keep you trapped.
