FIDIC Contracts Masterclass (Yellow Book Focus)

About this course

This course aims to develop competency & enhance knowledge & skills of construction industry professionals regarding how to draft, review, interpret, perform and administer Project Contracts based on various standard form of contracts published by FIDIC and also how to allocate risks among the parties, handle variations and manage claims & disputes as per the guidelines, procedures, timelines and principles provided by FIDIC  In the second section, students will come to know about the FIDIC, its activities and various books published by FIDIC as Standard Forms of Contracts for the Global Construction Industry.  In the third section section, students will understand how Conditions of Contract are structured under FIDIC Contracts and learn how to prepare Particular Conditions (PC) as per FIDIC Guidelines. Focus of fourth section is to provide insights regarding risk sharing principles and how risks are allocated between Employer & Contractor under Red, Yellow and Silver Book. Fifth section provides deep understanding of Key Clauses of Yellow Book to ensure correct interpretation. After going through 6th section, participants will feel confident to manage and resolve variation and others changes during project execution as per FIDIC Yellow Book GC. In the 7th section, students will learn the potential claim areas, parties' obligations & procedure and develop competency to manage claims and resolve costly dispute during work execution
