I can still remember one of my kids walking out of school one day, brimming with pride, and declaring that they had been learning about onomatopoeia. At the time, I had no idea what onomatopoeia even meant (and this was before Google was at our fingertips). It felt overwhelming. These terms—words I’d never heard of—suddenly seemed essential for helping them with their homework. I found myself wishing there was a straightforward way to learn these terms without feeling like I needed to go back to school myself.This course is designed to help parents like you by introducing some of the most commonly used grammatical terms taught in primary education. Whether it’s nouns, verbs, similes, or metaphors, understanding these terms will make supporting your child much easier and more enjoyable.To make this even more practical, the course includes over 25 downloadable resources to help you actively support your child’s learning. When I studied learning styles and neurodiversity, I discovered something powerful: giving a child just one way to learn something creates a single memory. But by offering a variety of resources and approaches, you help them build multiple neuropathways. This makes it much easier for them to recall information when they need it most.(PS.
