About this course

On completion of this module, you will be able to evaluate different approaches used to develop category management for both direct and indirect expenditure, and plan the strategic processes associated with each category. You will understand how category management supports improved value, clearer decision-making, and more effective sourcing strategies across an organisation.Category management takes the entire procurement process—from analysis and sourcing to negotiation and performance management—and applies it to a defined group of goods or services.
