About this course
This course teaches you the key skills to deploy, scale, and manage applications in Kubernetes. You’ll start by understanding the differences between deployments, DaemonSets, and StatefulSets, and learn how to run and scale applications using these methods. You’ll cover practical deployment strategies, including using sidecar containers for logging and pod initialization. The course also introduces Helm and Kustomize, showing you how to simplify and manage complex application deployments, with hands-on experience installing and managing Helm charts. Scheduling lessons cover how to control workload placement using labels, affinity and anti-affinity rules, taints, tolerations, quotas, and priorities. Each topic includes hands-on labs so you can apply what you learn.
