Cloud connectivity is only an asset if it's properly managed. This course teaches you to design, secure, and control Azure network infrastructure — from your first virtual network to enterprise-grade traffic distribution. You'll start by building the networking foundation: creating and configuring Azure Virtual Networks (VNETs), assigning private and public IP addresses, and applying Network Security Groups and Application Security Groups to control traffic flow. Azure DNS and Private DNS Zones round out the foundation, supporting name resolution for all Azure workloads. The intersite connectivity module covers the hybrid and private connections that link Azure to the wider enterprise. You'll configure VNET Peering, set up VPN Gateways for site-to-site and point-to-site connections, design user-defined routes, and secure access to platform services using Service Endpoints and Private Endpoints. The final module focuses on traffic distribution and visibility. You'll deploy Azure Load Balancer for layer-4 traffic distribution, configure load balancer rules and session persistence, and set up Azure Application Gateway for URL-based routing and application-layer decisions. Network Watcher provides the troubleshooting and monitoring tools to keep everything running.
