Owners Dustin Saunders and Kate Davenport will share their vast knowledge of working with these plants revealing some of their trade secrets that have been painstakingly developed through years of trial and error. This comprehensive course will take you through a year long process of planning, planting, and growing on through to harvest. You will get demonstrations filmed right at their farm in Berthoud, Colorado along with class room instructions on key details such as how to pick the right size corm to grow and where to buy them. How to soak and rehydrate the corms after they arrive and then force pre-sprouting before you put them in the ground. There's valuable information for every stage in the process that maintains organic and environmental practices that have been adapted to Colorado's climate.
