Introduction

As the foundation of all molecular sciences, chemistry plays an increasingly important role in advancing almost every area of scientific knowledge. The Chemistry master's program at UND gives you a broad education in chemical principles along with a targeted focus in one of the following specialties:

  • Synthesis

Thesis and non-thesis options are available for this program. Under the supervision of an expert chemistry faculty member, you'll conduct original research and present it in the form of an M.S. thesis. And you'll prepare to launch a career as a professional research chemist or chemistry educator.
