BSC BIOCHEMISTRY

The minimum requirements for admission in BSC BIOCHEMISTRY at University of East Anglia for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of East Anglia.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of East Anglia as pre-requiste for admission in BSC BIOCHEMISTRY.

A LEVELS

BBB/ABC, or BBC with an A in the Extended Project, including grade B in Chemistry. Science A-Levels must include a pass in the practical element.

T LEVELS

No acceptable pathways for 2022 entry.

BTEC

DDM in Applied Science, or Applied Science (Medical Science). Excludes BTEC Public Services, Forensic Science, Uniformed Services or Business Administration.

You will learn the fundamentals of biology and chemistry that underpin the study of biochemistry. Then you will choose from a broad range of modules across topics such as cell and molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, genetics, protein engineering and microbial biotechnology.  

In your final year, you will have the chance to further develop your laboratory and technical skills with an independent research project in a unique area of science. You could even see your research published.
