Introduction

As a student in energy and environmental engineering you will learn to work with energy and cleaning technology issues in a holistic perspective. You will work with concepts such as function, energy efficiency, economy and environmental influence in all areas, for instance, the heating and ventilation of buildings, process management in industry, or water and sewage treatment. There is a constant need to improve all these aspects in view of the increasing cost of energy. The role of the energy and environmental engineer is clear and important. If you wish to specialise further after earning a Bachelor of Science degree, you can continue towards a Master of Science degree.
