Bachelor's degree program Mechanical Engineering

This program provides the choice to specialize either in Equipment and technology of welding production or Machines and technology of metal forming. A wide range of potential careers will be open to successful graduates from our program. These include highly requested professions in mechanical engineering, repair and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines, mining equipment, metallurgical equipment and other complex technical systems.

The program consists of theoretical and practical courses. The main ones are:

• Theory of welding processes;
• Calculation and design of welded structures;
• Production of welded structures;
• Theory of metal forming;
• Technology of sheet metal forming;
• Technology forging and hot stamping.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor's degree program Mechanical Engineering at Siberian Federal University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Siberian Federal University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Siberian Federal University as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor's degree program Mechanical Engineering.

The program is designed to provide students with theoretical grounds and practical skills in specialist engineering subjects, such as welding techniques, resistance spot welding with reduction of spot weld periphery, one-sided spot welding. The majority of our graduates pursue careers in mechanical engineering.
