Master’s Programme Economics and Economic Policy

The purpose of this programme is to prepare students for the future work in academia,  government agencies, private companies, and centers for economic analysis. Graduates of  the applied economics track are trained to analyze and forecast consequences of decisions in business and public policy. Research track provides  thorough knowledge of economic theory and methods to carry out advanced theoretical and empirical research and prepares students for the future academic career.  

1. International English-language certificates: One of those:

• IELTS, at least 6
• TOEFL IBT (Internet Based), at least 80
• TOEFL PBT (Paper Based), at least 500
• CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), at least C
• CAE (Certificate of Advanced English)
• BEC Higher (Business English Certificate)
• Alternatively: official confirmation that your previous undergraduate/graduate studies were in English

The applicant’s backgrounds and level of knowledge of math and economics, finance and other relevant sciences vary. In order to help those who lack advanced preparation, together with the program directors and teaching faculty we prepared a list of courses that are free and you can take them online in any part of the world.
