Introduction
MS Software Engineering program 2021 exposes students to the complete life-cycle of computer application development including abstraction, modeling and algorithm development, leveraging computer systems, programming languages and development frameworks, and software development techniques and processes.
The School of System and Technology (SST) at UMT is offering a two-year MS Software Engineering degree program. The program is designed to develop knowledge and skills in specialized technical areas.
MS Software Engineering degree enables participants to have the expanded knowledge of the discipline and have a broad academic and industrial perspectives and hands on experience of designing, developing and maintaining state of the art software products. The graduates play a lead role in the local as well as global software industry by acting as designers and managers of modern software.
The thesis component of this program provides the participant with an opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge acquired through the course-work in solving complex problems. Graduates of this program are employed by organizations developing advanced technical products or services.

More Information
The candidiate must have 4 year Bachelor or Equivalent Degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 2.50 CGPA or 60% in annual system.
The candidate must have passed NTS (GAT) with a minimum score of 50% score or UMT Entry test.
