BS Accounting and Finance

The Bachelor (BS) of Accounting and Finance program 2021 at UMT provides participants with the basic knowledge, skills and tools necessary for a profitable career in finance, accounting and taxation.  The students are encouraged to explore and appreciate diverse career opportunities in public accounting, corporate accounting, and other related areas.

The program provides a thorough academic foundation in the skills and knowledge necessary for entry into the accounting profession. Students of Accounting and Finance receive professional accreditation on a case to case basis. The course is a blend of theory and practice of accounting and finance and offers major exemptions from the examinations of professional accountancy bodies. BS Accounting and Finance holds Relevant Degree Awarding Institute  (RDAI) status with ICAP (Advance standing in CA), Accelerate program with ACCA and exemptions from CIMA.

- Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate / A-Level or equivalent and no 3rd division in Matriculation

- 50% marks in NTS\UMT Entry Test (Arithematics and English)
