MS Economics (1.5 year)

MS Economics (1.5 year) is a 1.5 years Masters program taught at Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS, . The program is offered in campus-based modes with full Time options. To successfully obtain MS Economics (1.5 year) from Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS you are required to complete credit hours. After completion of MS Economics (1.5 year) you will be able to further continue for advance studies or start career as Economist, Budget Analyst, Consultant.

The minimum requirements for admission in MS Economics (1.5 year) at Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS as pre-requiste for admission in MS Economics (1.5 year).

1.5 year degree programme is designed for individuals who have sufficient background knowledge in economics at the undergraduate level. Students have a thesis and non-thesis option.

MS students with thesis are required to register in the third and fourth semesters by taking 6 thesis credits. MS students without thesis are required to take 6 credits elective courses in the third semester to complete the degree requirements.
