MS Healthcare Management and Innovation

MS Healthcare Management and Innovation is a 1.5 years Masters program taught at Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS, . The program is offered in campus-based modes with full Time options. To successfully obtain MS Healthcare Management and Innovation from Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS you are required to complete 33 credit hours. After completion of MS Healthcare Management and Innovation you will be able to further continue for advance studies or start career as Healthcare Administrator, Healthcare Finance Manager.

The minimum requirements for admission in MS Healthcare Management and Innovation at Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS as pre-requiste for admission in MS Healthcare Management and Innovation.

Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria in order to be considered for admission to the Graduate Programme. 

Applicants are selected for admission to LUMS MS Healthcare Management and Innovation Programme based on the following factors:

• Academic Record;
• Performance in the Admission Test*;
• Statement of Purpose;
• Two Letters of Recommendation;
• Completed and submitted application form and supporting documents by the stipulated deadline;
• Application Review; and
• Interview Performance (if called)

1st Semester - Core Courses (15 credit hours):

• Business Economics
• Organisations and Leadership
• Financial Management and Accounting
• Marketing Management

2nd Semester - Specialisation Courses (12 credit hours):

• Health Systems Management
• Healthcare Policy, Politics and Law
• Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Healthcare
• Managing Healthcare Operations

Summer
As part of the core courses, after two semesters of study, students take a 3 credit hour course in Applied Data Analysis.

3rd Semester - Field Theses (6 credit hours):

In the last semester, all students undertake a practical field project carrying 6 credit hours. The project is linked to a real-life client during the third semester where a final report and presentation to the client is made. Students will benefit from the work exposure and networking opportunity.
