The Study of Economics is a useful means of analyzing the behaviour of consumers, businesses and the government and gives students a better understanding of economic problems facing contemporary society. Majoring in Economics develops in students an analytical ability and flexibility that is attractive to a wide range of employers in both business and government.
The courses have been designed to prepare the students for dealing with economic issues that face the world today. In addition to taking formal courses in Economics, students will be involved in activities designed to develop their research skills. In the final semester they will be required to submit a research report on any area of interest. They will also be encouraged to complete internship in order to gain practical experience and specialized skills necessary for rewarding careers.
FA/F.Sc Part-I with minimum 60% marks OR A-level in three main subjects (no subsidiary) with minimum Grade B (60%) with Equivalence Certificate OR Grade 12 with minimum Grade B (60%) with Equivalence Certificate.

To receive B.Sc. Honors in Economics degree, a student must complete a total of 130 credit hours with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
