Introduction

Psychology is the study of mind and behavior. It’s a study about people: about who we are, how we think and feel, and why we do or don't make certain decisions. This program has a flexible and innovative curriculum that gives you the freedom to combine a major and a minor and specialize in two out of the nine major fields of Psychology.

  • As this Bachelor’s program is taught entirely in English, you must prove your English language proficiency.
  • A good knowledge of mathematics is important for being successful in this Bachelor’s program. In order to be admitted, you must therefore prove that you have sufficient knowledge of mathematics.

More Information

You will acquire a solid foundation in various fields of Psychology, preparing you for a diverse range of professional fields, including health and social services, mental health, organizational leadership and management, community and public relations, education, program development and facilitation, and social science research. Build up expertise in the areas of your choice: design your own study program by choosing a major in the second year, followed by a subsequent minor in your third year.

  • In the first general year of your Bachelor's program, you are introduced to all of the interesting focus areas that form the essential foundation for your future program in psychology. This will help you to make a choice from the majors and minors that you will further explore.
  • In addition to a number of advanced courses and statistics courses, in the second year you will choose a unique major that forms the core of your future program. You will follow a specialization course in each study period, learn professional skills in the major of your choice, and conduct supervised research in small groups.
  • In the third year, you will conclude your major with a course that focuses on professional practice. After finishing your major, you will individually shape your program by choosing a minor and two electives. You will conclude your program with a Bachelor's thesis in the field of your major.
