Introduction

  2. A Bachelor of Laws with honours degree with CGPA from 2.70 to 2.99 or its equivalent and one (1) of the criteria below, or:
    1. relevant work experience;
    2. publication in the relevant field;
    3. applicant is a scholarship holder;
    4. applicant is a University of Malaya graduate.

  3. A Bachelor of Laws with honours degree with CGPA from 2.50 to 2.69 and two (2) of the criteria below:
    1. relevant work experience;
    2. publication in the relevant field;
    3. applicant is a scholarship holder;
    4. applicant is a University of Malaya graduate.

This program consists of coursework only.
A candidate for the Master of Laws is required to demonstrate ability to carry out under guidance, research of high quality and to relate the research to the broader legal framework. At the end of the course, the candidate should demonstrate ability to present well written work and demonstrate competence in the chosen field of law.
