To successfully obtain Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education from UCSI University you are required to complete credit hours. After completion of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education you will be able to further continue for advance studies or start career as Lecturer, Educational Consultant, Writer, Academic Researcher, Teacher.

The minimum requirements for admission in Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education at UCSI University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by UCSI University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by UCSI University as pre-requiste for admission in Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education.

• A Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate;

OR
• Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP Senate.
OR

Candidates with at least CGPA of 3.67 at Bachelor’s Degree level may apply to convert their candidacy to the PhD programmes subject to:

1. having shown competency and capability in conducting research at PhD level
2. rigorous internal evaluation by the HEP
3. approval by the HEP’s Senate

In this interest, students in this PhD (Education) programme will be guided to acquire and utilise competencies relevant to the planning and execution of research in the various educational discipline.
