PhD in Medical Science

PhD in Medical Science is a 3 years PhD program taught at Sunway University, . The program is offered in campus-based modes with full Time and part-time options. To successfully obtain PhD in Medical Science from Sunway University you are required to complete credit hours. After completion of PhD in Medical Science you will be able to further continue for advance studies or start career as Medical Researcher, Biomedical Researcher.

For International/Malaysian Applicants  Medium of instruction of previous degree in English or Competence in English language and a TOEFL score of 600 or equivalent for candidates from universities in non-English speaking countries outside Malaysia

In this research-based programme, students are actively engaged in bidirectional translational medicine. The programme emphasises on the study that either brings the current issues from patients and medical care to the laboratory settings, or takes scientific discoveries made in the laboratory or the clinic and transforms them into new treatments and approaches to improve health and medical care in the community.
