In fact, their area of application is broad and daily innovations are being made in pursuit of making life more comfortable, convenient and safe while reducing costs. As such, they lead to the development of new, unprecedented technology and to the direct design of a future society. The Department works in an extremely wide-ranging research area in order to build a better tomorrow and to enrich peoples' lives. We cover numerous fields, such as communications, information, control, power electronics, semiconductors and nanoelectronics, and in each of these areas we facilitate cutting-edge and unique research. By providing an excellent learning environment, we are pouring our efforts into multifaceted education so that students can obtain application skills in order to respond to the fast-paced changes in technology, as well as a well-balanced foundation for the creation of new technology.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelors of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at Aoyama Gakuin University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Aoyama Gakuin University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Aoyama Gakuin University as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelors of Electrical Engineering and Electronics.

Students can freely select from departmental subjects, Aoyama Standard Subjects, Foreign Language Subjects (take at least minimum credits required), Universal Subjects of the Department, subjects of other departments in the College of Science and Engineering, as well as subjects offered by other colleges.
