Accounting focuses on the day-to-day management of financial reports and records across the business world, while finance uses the same information to project further growth and to analyse expenditure in order to strategise comapny finances. Combining these areas gives an overview of financial strategy and control while providing focus on professional principles and processes used in order to manage numbers.
This is a four-year Level 8 course with 60 ECTS per annum, with the final two years concentrating on exemptions for the professional accounting bodies. There are seven modules in Year 3 and six modules in Year 4. All modules are mandatory. Your final overall classification will be based on a combination of your Year 3 (1/3) and Year 4 (2/3) results.
