Introduction

The master’s degree is aimed at prospective students who want to familiarize themselves with social security systems and who are particularly interested in intercultural exchange. The mixture of face-to-face and online lessons gives students the opportunity to build an international network and communicate with experts from various areas of social security. After successfully completing the course, the graduates acquire the academic degree “Master of Arts”.

The interdisciplinary master’s course offers a deep insight into the various areas of social security. Graduates of the course are able to design sustainable, financially viable social security systems that can be both effective and variable. Furthermore, students are enabled to optimize and, if necessary, to restructure social security systems, as well as their adaptation to future demographic, economic, and social challenges.
