Introduction

The Master of Science in Molecular Medicine primarily focuses on biomedical issues and examines those using methods and experimental approaches from the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and physiology. The skills acquired in this programme can be used in biomedical research and medical biotechnology. This degree programme meets the quickly growing need in the field of molecular and biomedical research for scholars with basic knowledge of medicine and natural science.

Extensive laboratory experiments, the goal of which is to teach students modern experimental methods, are a major part of this degree programme. Admission Requirements

For this master's program, you need a subject-specific undergraduate degree (minimum 6 semesters/180 ECTS-Credits) or a recognized equivalent. The master's program is a consecutive course, based on the bachelor's program in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena.
