Students in the Visual Studies program at the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design pursue one of the two Specialist streams offered, Studio or Critical Practices, or the Major in Visual Studies. Students who pursue a Major in Visual Studies must also pursue a Major in another subject area or two Minors in other subject areas in order to complete their degree requirements. The Minor in Visual Studies is not open to students in the Visual Studies program and is open only to students in the Architectural Studies program.
