Dentistry (BSc)

Dentistry (BSc) is a 2 summer terms Bachelor program taught at University of Manitoba, . The program is offered in campus-based modes with full Time options. To successfully obtain Dentistry (BSc) from University of Manitoba you are required to complete credit hours. After completion of Dentistry (BSc) you will be able to further continue for advance studies or start career as Dental hygienist, Dental Surgeon, Dentist.

The minimum requirements for admission in Dentistry (BSc) at University of Manitoba for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of Manitoba.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of Manitoba as pre-requiste for admission in Dentistry (BSc).

The following are minimum requirements for entry into the program. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

To qualify for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Dentistry program, you must:

• Be enrolled in the DMD program
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 prior to registration

Student selection will be based on academic achievement and the interest shown by the student in research. The final decision on student selection will rest with the Undergraduate Research Committee.

The Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (BSc) program provides interested dental students an opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of faculty mentors. Students will acquire knowledge and skills in research design and methodology over two summer terms during the DMD program.

This program is only available to students enrolled in the DMD program.
