Entry requirements for the 100 pt program

Advanced standing of up to 100 credit points of the 200 credit point degree will be granted to applicants who have either:

• A four-year education degree, or equivalent, or
• An undergraduate degree in any discipline and at least 100 credit points, or equivalent, of graduate study in education

You will be automatically assessed for up to 100 credit points advanced standing. You can check the University of Melbourne Credit, Advanced Standing and Accelerated Entry Policy to see if you are eligible to receive credit towards your chosen course.

We will ask you to nominate at least one specialisation in your application to the Master of Education. Please note that students may change their specialisation through the course of their enrolment. Indicating an intended specialisation at the time of application does not commit you to completing that specialisation.

Please note: For the Leadership and Management Specialisation, it is recommended that applicants have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in an education or a related setting (such as health and social service) before undertaking this specialisation.

• Three-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
