Advanced Diploma of Music

Advanced Diploma of Music is a 1 year Diploma program taught at Edith Cowan University, . The program is offered in campus-based modes with full Time options. To successfully obtain Advanced Diploma of Music from Edith Cowan University you are required to complete credit hours. After completion of Advanced Diploma of Music you will be able to further continue for advance studies or start career as Composer, Music Producer, Contemporary Musician, Teacher.

The minimum requirements for admission in Advanced Diploma of Music at Edith Cowan University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Edith Cowan University as pre-requiste for admission in Advanced Diploma of Music.

The following course-specific admission requirements are mandatory and must be satisfied by all applicants. These requirements are in addition to or supersede the minimum requirements outlined within the Academic admission requirements band section below.

All applicants are required to have completed a Diploma qualification in music if they applying for the Music Artist stream. Alternatively applicants can be considered for this stream if they have extensive vocational experience in music practice. Additionally applicants must attend an audition, and normally be turning at least 17 by 30 June in the year of commencing the course if they are applying for the Music Artist stream. Alternatively applicants can normally be expected to be turning at least 18 by 30th June in the year of commencing the course if they are applying for the Sound Production stream. Sound Production applicants must attend an interview and provide a folio if they have not completed the Diploma of Music (Sound Production) at WAAPA, ECU.
